We process personal data only for specified purposes and to the extent necessary. Depending on the processing, we rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), the preparation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) or our legitimate interests in operating the website securely and efficiently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We only use cookies and similar storage for Google Ads with your consent (Section 25 (1) TDDDG, see section 6). Beyond that, we only store or read information on your device where this is strictly necessary for a function you have explicitly requested (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, see section 8).
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the website, Vercel processes technically necessary connection data, in particular your IP address, date and time, requested resource, referrer, browser type and operating system. This processing serves the secure, fast and stable provision of the website on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Data may be processed in the USA. For international transfers, Vercel provides contractual safeguards including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Further information is available in Vercel's privacy notice and data processing addendum (links below).
If you contact us using the enquiry form, by email or by phone, we process your details to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). In the form, these are your event type, preferred date, number of guests, name and email address, as well as any optional details on budget, company, phone and message. Required fields are marked in the form.
With your enquiry, we also transmit the page from which you send it, the page language and, if the address you visited contains campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), these parameters. This allows us to understand how enquiries reach us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
With each enquiry we also transmit a randomly generated enquiry ID and, if you reached us via a Google ad and consented to Google Ads, the Google Ads click identifier (gclid, gbraid or wbraid). This lets us understand later whether an ad led to an enquiry and a booking (see section 6).
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the enquiry and any contract preparation and no statutory retention obligations apply.
We use Formspree, a service of Formspree, Inc., to transmit the enquiry form. When you submit the form, the data you entered and technically necessary connection data, such as your IP address, are sent to Formspree and processed there to handle and forward your enquiry. Processing may take place in the USA. Data is transmitted only when you submit the form, in order to take pre-contractual steps and handle your enquiry in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The form uses a hidden field and Formspree's protection mechanisms against spam. Further information is available in Formspree's privacy policy (link below).
To understand how our website is used, we use Plausible Analytics, a service of Plausible Insights OÜ, Tartu, Estonia. Plausible works without cookies and without local storage. A daily changing, irreversible count value is generated from the IP address and browser identifier. The key used for this is deleted every 24 hours. IP addresses and full browser identifiers are not stored. The data is processed and stored in the EU.
We evaluate aggregated information such as pages visited, referring website, campaign parameters, approximate location at country, region or city level, and device type, browser and operating system. We also count events such as steps reached in the enquiry form, enquiries sent, clicks on phone, email or the partner venue and visits to pages that do not exist, each only with event type, guest and budget range, language, source or page address. Names, email addresses, phone numbers and messages are never transmitted to Plausible. We cannot identify you personally.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in data-minimising audience measurement and in improving our offer (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may object to this processing at any time under Art. 21 GDPR. Further information is available in Plausible's data policy (link below).
On your first visit we ask whether we may use Google Ads conversion tracking. You can choose “Accept all” or “Necessary only”; both options are equally available. We store your choice for twelve months in your browser's local storage (key paf-consent-v2). You can change your decision at any time with effect for the future via “Cookie settings” in the footer. If you withdraw consent, we delete any Google Ads cookies we can reach.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (conversion ID AW-17616836273). Conversion tracking shows us whether a click on one of our ads led to a successfully submitted event enquiry or to a click on our phone number or email address. We only see the number of such conversions, not who triggered them.
We use Google's consent mode (Consent Mode v2) in its basic form: without your consent this website loads no Google services and your browser does not connect to Google. The Google tag is only loaded after you consent. Google then sets cookies such as _gcl_au (up to 90 days) and processes advertising identifiers, IP address, device and browser data, the page visited, the referrer and the time.
If you reach us via a Google ad and have given your consent, we store the click identifier from the address (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) for up to 90 days in your browser's local storage. If you send an enquiry, the identifier is sent to us with it (see section 4). Without your consent we neither evaluate nor store the identifier. If you withdraw consent, we delete it.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25 (1) TDDDG). Processing in the USA is possible; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (see section 11). For more information, see Google's privacy policy (link below).
Fonts, images, videos and the initial location map are loaded from this website itself. No requests are made to Google Fonts or external video platforms.
If you pause motion and animations using the switch at the bottom right, we save this choice in your browser's local storage under the key paf-motion-paused. We only store whether motion is paused. This storage is strictly necessary for the function you requested (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can change or delete it at any time using the same switch or your browser settings.
The initial location map is displayed locally. Your browser connects to OpenStreetMap only when you actively load the interactive map. This transmits information including your IP address to the map provider. The click counts as consent for this individual content (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG). Closing the map removes the embedded content.
Links to other websites, such as Hafen Location Hamburg, MIGNON or the public transport journey planner, open in a new tab. A connection to the respective website is only established when you click. The privacy information of the respective provider applies there.
Vercel, Formspree and, after your consent, Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the USA. Where necessary, the providers base transfers on an adequacy decision such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Despite these safeguards, processing in third countries may be subject to different data protection standards and access by authorities.
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Please use the contact details above.
