Warmth and a weather plan
Your date, guest count and the weather decide how much of the party takes place outdoors. We clarify which heating and weather protection are possible on your date, along with a plan B.
Getting home
Harbour ferry line 62 stops at the Dockland (Fischereihafen) pier close by. For the end of the evening, plan taxis or a shuttle.

How many guests fit at Platz am Fischereihafen?
The 1,500 m² open-air space holds up to 3,000 guests standing, up to 400 guests seated. The exact number depends on stage, catering and weather protection.
Can we book the venue in winter?
Yes. The venue can be booked all year round, including for Christmas parties. We agree weather protection and a winter concept for your date.
Are there fixed Christmas party packages or prices?
No. Every Christmas party at the venue is its own concept. On request you receive an individual proposal for food, drinks, equipment and entertainment. Feel free to share a budget.
When does it get dark in December?
In December the sun sets in Hamburg at around 4 pm, earliest in the middle of the month. If you want to enjoy dusk by the water, start at around 3.30 pm.
What happens if it rains or storms?
We agree on the weather plan with you before you book. For up to 500 guests, the Hafen Location within walking distance can serve as a fallback, subject to availability. We discuss the right solution for your date personally.
